Amy Mahjoory is a Real Estate Investor & Educator, HGTV Personality, Best-Selling Author and Keynote Speaker. Amy’s life didn’t start in real estate. After 14 years in Corporate America, Amy had her fill working for other people. Although Amy was a highly recognized global leader in Procurement, Logistics and Operations Management for Dell Computers, she decided that a traditional education combined with the false security of a 9-5 was not producing the results she wanted. Real estate was the game changer.

Amy has been investing in real estate over the last 10 years and during that time, she’s raised Millions of dollars in private money for hundreds of real estate transactions all over the country. As a result of her immediate success, Amy went on to resign from her Corporate job to pursue her passion in real estate. Shortly thereafter, she signed a contract with HGTV and began coaching real estate investors all over the country on the same creative trust and rapport building strategies, systems and scripts that she still uses in her businesses today.

Veena Jetti (VEE-nuh JEH-tee) is the founding partner of Vive (rhymes with "five") Funds, a unique commercial real estate firm that specializes in curating conservative opportunities for investors. Veena brings a dynamic perspective to targeting, acquiring, managing, and operating assets using best practices combined with cutting edge technologies. Her professional expertise includes driving corporate strategy and business development opportunities.

After graduating from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a degree in Finance at 20 years old, she pursued her passion for real estate. Veena has over a decade of real estate experience and over $1B+ in real estate assets over her career in both the startup world as well as the corporate world. Because of her diverse background, she is often a panelist and speaker for various podcasts, global conferences, and radio shows.

Aside from professional endeavors, Veena is a passionate philanthropist. She has founded and served on the board for a national non-profit organization. In 2017, she was one of only three women to receive the Politico Woman of the Year award for the significant amount of time and focus she spent on aiding in a grassroots Hurricane Harvey disaster response. She continues to be involved in helping companies and charitable organizations develop better disaster recovery protocols for future emergencies. She is a current lending team lead at kiva.org, an organization that specializes in helping entrepreneurs with micro-loans. JOHN DESSAUER

Multifamily Investor & Syndicator

John Dessauer built a massive real estate investing business. He has purchased foreclosures, short sales and single family houses, by the dozens. He's completed fix and flips and purchased properties directly from banks and other financial institutions. John has purchased multi-family units by the hundreds, acquired office buildings, retail centers, designed and created a successful restaurant and has completed several design and construction projects in the residential market.

John has negotiated with some of the wealthiest individuals on the planet. He had a line of credit approved over the phone for $1,700,000 in 45 minutes and started to use the money the next day! John started and later sold a company that created $15,000,000 in gross revenue within the first 18 months from scratch! Most of that coming in a $12,000,000 dollar deal that he closed that year with a fortune 500 company when he was working by himself in boxer shorts above his garage. 

In addition to running The Dessauer Group, John and Heather Dessauer are serial investors of their own and have investments including apartments, single-family homes, office buildings and raw land. They own a lending company, Oppenheimer Realty Capital, that works only with real estate investors and a marketing company, Safari Marketing and Media that does a wide variety of projects to help businesses of all kinds market their products and services. Finally, they also have a Property Management/Brokerage firm that assists owner-occupants and investors in the real estate arena. The firm, Anton Agency/Anton Asset Management, operates in Illinois, Indiana, North Carolina and Florida.

Maurice Sims

Maurice Sims was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. He is a father of 3 and the oldest of 2 other siblings. He worked at Lockheed Martin as a small system engineer for a few years and then worked as the department manager at a local print company. He managed a crew of about 10 employees for about 15 years. In 2019 Maurice founded WCS Property Solutions. WCS is a family owned and operated full service real estate company. We specialize in buying and selling real estate creatively. WCS has a huge focus on helping hard working middle class families become homeowners through our " Path to Homeownership" program. To date WCS has completed over 35 real estate deals without leveraging hard money or banks. WCS also added Amy Mahjoory to the team as a business advisor in 2021 to learn how to start raising private money in order to grow and scale. Amanda Fornelli

Amanda Fornelli was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA and has a background in engineering with an MBA. In late 2019, she left Corporate America to start real estate investment company, Nopali Properties, with her husband David and brother Oscar. Her company quickly established its presence in the High Desert of California within the fix and flip and short term rental space over the last three years. Part of their success story was attributed to Amanda's ability to develop great relationships and raise over $2.5 Million in private money which allowed the team to pursue unlimited deals. Amanda has been coached by Amy Mahjoory and other seasoned investors, so her goal is to pay it forward by helping others build generational wealth through real estate. 

David Fornelli

Hotel & Vacation Rentals

David J. Fornelli is a Los Angeles Native who is now based out of Joshua Tree, CA. Prior to working in real estate, David worked as an Archaeologist for 6 years after earning a Master’s Degree in Anthropology. He is one of the co-founders of Nopali Properties along with his wife, Amanda Fornelli, and brother-in-law Oscar Bustos, and is now the head of Marketing, Lead Generation, and Short Term Rental (STR) Operations. Nopali Properties is a small family team of Desert Renovation Specialists who redevelop homes, complete STR build outs, and have a well manicured portfolio of their own successful STRs. Since April 2020, David and his team have transacted over $13 Million in real estate between Los Angeles and Joshua Tree. The team has recently ventured into the commercial real estate space with a goal to scale their business beyond traditional single family homes.

Nic McGrue is the founding attorney at Polymath Legal PC where he handles transactional matters in the areas of syndication, real estate, business, and entertainment. Nic
received his bachelor’s degree in American Ethnic Studies from the University of Washington.

He received his Juris Doctorate degree from Pepperdine University Caruso School of Law. At Pepperdine, Nic was a journal editor, a student government officer, and a moot court board officer. He focused his studies on business, entrepreneurship, and real estate. Nic also holds an L.L.M. in Taxation & Financial Services with a certificate in U.S. Tax. 

Nic is admitted to practice law in California and Washington State, and he holds a California Real Estate Broker's License. At Polymath Legal, Nic assists developers, syndicators, investors, and entrepreneurs in areas ranging from syndication, business formation, real estate and business transactions, and contracts. In aggregate, Nic has created syndications allowing his clients to raise capital to acquire more than $1 Billion dollars in assets.

In addition to working on various entrepreneurial ventures and running his law practice, Nic is a tenured Professor of Business Law and teaches business and real estate classes for undergraduate, graduate, MBA, and law school students. In his free time, Nic enjoys cooking, playing saxophone, hiking, practicing card magic, traveling, and learning about new topics that pique his curiosity.
